Fresh from Sunday lunch at the âIl Contadinoâ farmhouse (my first visit to the place), we ate on the splendid terrace overlooking the sea. However, a saying goes: âThe clothes do not make the monkâ.
The lunch consisted, in October 2023, of:
⢠Starters (cold cuts, cheeses, cheese and lamb, etc.).
⢠2 first courses.
⢠Seconds.
⢠Side.
To conclude: dessert, coffee, bitters and drinks.
The total cost was âŹ33 per person.
The starters were good but nothing special (what is usually expected in a farmhouse), while the first courses and side dishes were decidedly bland (personal tastes, but my table companions also confirmed this). Dessert, coffee and bitters were average.
A very negative point, in my opinion, concerned the staff. Although very polite and friendly, he did not know how to give precise information about the dishes served, or sometimes he preferred not to say anything and wait for the customer to ask.
In conclusion, it took me weeks to book, creating an expectation that was then disappointed, finding a farmhouse that "did not leave a mark".
Top restaurant, delicious and surprising food (they bring what is available, there is no menu), all at a fixed price.
Possibility of taking leftover food home, so nothing is wasted.
Relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful landscape especially at sunset.

The terrace of this farmhouse is the perfect setting for a beautiful painting. Homemade cuisine with zero km raw materials. We stopped on Saturday for lunch, fixed menu with appetizers, 2 first courses, a second course, dessert, coffee and Ammazza caffè. All drinks included for 28 EUR per person. A few kilometers from the Pineto motorway exit, recommended for those who want to take a break.
Good restaurant/farm well managed by the girl owner, excellent and well cooked food, tasty and classic dishes. The ravioli are good even if the dough is tough in some places.
